Nearly a month, let lazyness abound

Sep 27th, 2004 by Graham Booker

Well, it has been a long time since I have written here. I guess it is about time that I do again. Let’s see, what is new:

Well, I am starting to really like the new office. My new office-mate is Ian. He is a nice guy and we are getting along quite well. The only gripe that I have about the office is as of late, it has become quite cold. The AC is a bit too powerful in that room, but other than that, I like the place.

The beginning of school was quite interesting. I actually ended up writing a few poems to describe the situation. They can be found on my website. The most interesting part about it was when Curtis came down for school and didn’t have a place to stay nor had he registered for classes or anything. Needless to say, it made for some interesting times.

Breakaway has resumed, and so that has consumed my Tues. nights. I am thinking this may be the last semester that I will volunteer because it is starting to consume a great deal of time. At least I have learned a bit of something there. On the other side, I have decided that I will no longer go to Navs as I don’t have any friends there. The disadvantage with this is that I will no longer get a chance to see Katie anymore aside from the random meetings on campus, but I think that is something that I can live with. She is too much like Melea and is too busy for anything anyway.
Instead of Navs, I have been going to the hall on Thurs. nights. It is certainly interesting. I am slowly learning a bit on how to dance country western style. It is just one of those things that I will just have to keep practicing until I get it down. Live and learn.

Fire has fallen by the wayside a bit lately, but recently I have gotten back into it. I guess most of it is waiting to see how the semester is going to be. So far it has been rather light. I just flat out understand the CS courses. It doesn’t take all that much for me to figure out how to do things this semester. I just need to make sure that I don’t slack off too much and let things fall behind.

Anyway, I guess that is the past month in summary. I suppose I write this more for my future benefit than for anyone else as I don’t think I have told anyone about this blog yet. TIme will tell whether I do or not.
