Kyle,
Glad you enjoy the blog. I got my undergrad degree in Electrical Engineering, and am finishing my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. I would outright say that A&M is a bargain when it comes to engineering, agriculture, vet, and sciences (I bet I'm leaving out a good college or two here). It's a very good school, the campus is friendly, and it's not very expensive (both in terms of the cost of the school and the cost of living here).

This article is absolute genius. There is nothing worse than a complainer and I just found your blog yesterday but i've already read half the entries because they're so interesting and enjoyable. I formally thank you very much for your work with Perian and especially AC3 and DTS passthrough in quicktime. I have a very expensive Pioneer receiver and Bose Home System and absolutely refuse to use a conventional dvd player when I have a Macbook pro with dvd burning and converting and your articles have enabled my home theatre system to work at maximum function.

Additionally, I noticed the job fair link was from A&M. That is where I will be attending college and was curious what kind of schooling you did there?
