In using Leopard, I keep finding little annoyances, the vast majority of which are not crashes, just things that don't work, or don't work right. It is still usable, if you are willing to work around these nuisances. Anyway, the whole experience reminds me of when I used Windows NT 4 where I encountered a litany of little things that didn't work right, plus a blue screen about once a week. Yes, that was a long time ago, but to be honest, it was the last time I used any Windows for extended periods of time. I have yet to use any version of Vista for myself. My entire experience with it (and people keep asking my opinion of it for some reason) is limited to seeing Vista Home on a cheap laptop. The time for it to do things could be measured in minutes and the whole thing felt like watching paint dry. All I was trying to do was connect to the wireless network, and it took me about 15-20 minutes. I do not know if it was the OS or the hardware, but that was very disconcerting. I suppose I'll post my real experiences with Vista once I actually use it and can give it a fair trial. Noah,

It was a rough start re-learning where old options and new stuff is. Sure I encounter an occasional hiccup every few days (like an app that I have to force to close), but it's actually running more reliably than Windows XP was for me. I use IE7 Pro and RoboForm with IE to get a lot of Firefox like behavior, disable User Access Protection, and use AutoHotKey to automatically eliminate pop-up dialogs. My MacBook hardly ever crashes. What I figured before taking a look at Leopard is they probably cranked to get it out in time so it would be more buggy.
